I’ve been using the Thinkorswim platform since 2007. Along with being the best charting package out there (in my opinion)  Thinkorswim is constantly rolling out cutting edge tools and functionality and the customer support staff is outstanding.

Finviz – Stock Screener

I use FinViz to scan through stocks and create my watch lists. You have the ability to customize a breadth of characteristics from fundamental to technical and can save your settings for easy repeat use.

Trading Journal Spreadsheets – Excel Based Trading Journal

Greg’s trading journal tools for excel and hands down the best in the industry. The ability to track and analyze your trades is vital to any traders success.

Pit Bull (book) – Best firsthand account of a futures trader

This is one of the best books ever written on futures trading. The author Martin “Buzzy” Schwartz walks you through his journey as a trader in one of the most riveting, yet detailed accounts of what it’s like be a full time futures trader.

Jing – Screen Capture Program – Jing

This free software allows you to easily capture screenshots and videos of your trades. I always go through after the market’s have closed and record my trades for analysis.
